A good quality George II solid silver salver decorated with shell, scroll and acanthus design to the border. Standing on 3 scrolled design feet. Very light surface wear and markings.
11.9″ diameter. Weight – 957gm.
Hallmarked 1742.
Maker Thomas Whipham.
Thomas Whipham was a London silversmith first registered in 1737.
