Superb Scottish highlands oil painting by the well listed Victorian artist and member of the famous Breanski painting family, Gustave de Breanski (1856-1898). Lovely sunset light over the mountains and general atmosphere of the work. Alfred seniors best works are of a similar sun setting west coast highland scenes, a family trait. As all the Breanski family painted these kinds of fabulous highland scenes. Breanski highland paintings have always been among my most popular.
