Scottish Wemyss Cockerel Teapot Small size, 6.5″ wide and 4″ high approx. Impressed Wemyss Mark and T Goode retailers stamp. Condition, some tiny spout chipping. Stained base clearly attracted 100 years of filth into crack. Crack is stable and the dirt makes it look worse. Paint is good. Wemyss ware tea pots of this age are extremely rare in perfect condition unstained. This is a good pot i give it condition 7.5/10. |
