Vintage Paragon English Bone China Figurine ~ “Lady Marguerite”

This delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Paragon English Bone China Figurine, “Lady Marguerite”, was designed by leading artist Reginald Johnson, Circa 1950, and issued by Paragon China of Longton, Staffordshire, { 1919 – 1960 }. Good crisp modelling and beautiful colourway combine to make her the perfect addition to the Paragon enthusiast’s collection. The base fully marked with the Paragon backstamp and title, “Lady Marguerite”, { According to Kathy Artus’ most helpful reference work, “Paragon China Figure Collection”, this is possibly Series Number 188 }. Inspired by HRH Princess Margaret, a rare version of this figurine may also be found in a white dress, this with applied red roses, the underside with title, “Princess Margaret”.
