A late 20th century Conoid bench in the manner of George and Mira Nakashima. The backrest is made of vertical rods, wider in the centre, tapering at both ends, connected to a very large and very heavy horizontal piece of American walnut with a well configured live edge, butterfly joint detail at both ends and raised on slightly tapering substantial legs.
A very solid piece of furniture that is well constructed and in very good condition with no damage or repairs and structurally sound.
