This truly is a ‘Blast from the Past!’ It is a Magnificent Flamed Mahogany, Newspaper/Periodical Holder, late Victorian c 1890. You used to see these in Great Country House Hotels in either the Lounge of the Drawing Room where Guests would read the National & Local Newspapers of the day. This is truly a beautiful item and needs a real good home. Although prices reasonably I am open to offers nearby the asking price. It is as you see—truly a Magnificently made item. It Measures 61cm in length–43cm in width and 29.5cm in height.
