Gillows Twin Pedestal oak Writing Desk c1890

A good quality solid oak twin pedestal writing desk by Gillows of Lancaster c1890. Original skiver to the top surface which is in really good condition with very little wear. The top is slightly overhung with bracket supports all the way around. An arrangement of nine drawers, graduating in size on both sides, all with their original brass handles. All locks are present but no keys. The desk can be placed as a stand alone in the middle of a room as the back has moulded panels.
In really good condition, no breaks or repairs. Gillows stamp to the top centre drawer. The desk doesn’t come apart, however it will go through a standard doorway.
