Antique French Gong Striking 8-Day Mantel Clock – 4 glass regulator style desk clock C1890 – Serviced May 2024

This is a wonderful clock, the clock benefits from a flat top with four turned corner finials to each corner. The dial and movement is suspended in a four glass case so you can see the movement gong and swinging pendulum. The stand out feature on this clock is ate carved floral panels rounding around the top and bottom to each side of this clock. The dial is outstanding with carved pieced decoration to teh centre and Arabic numeral enamelled chapter ring. This is a French 8 day gong striking movement stamped with a number the pendulum is also numbered. The movement has just been serviced by my fathers friend John. 

Clock measures 32cm high by 16cm wide and 12.5cm deep
