Circa 1820. Superb quality neat-sized regency rosewood bookcase. The top in figured rosewood with a reverse breakfront outline above the beautifully carved frieze with acanthus and scrolling flowers. Two astragal glazed doors open to adjustable shelved bookcase and flanked by pilasters with carved capitals, all on a beaded moulded platform base over claw feet. Beautiful colour and patina and in excellent condition.
