A fabulous example of a large Vintage Brutalist Table Lamp late 1960’s / early 70’s, in the style of Tom Ahlström & Ehrich and Albano Poli.
Handmade from forged metal and using pressed “ice” style clear glass with Amber streak running through on both sides of light.
There is a vintage “Jb Forja Artistica” Barcelona label underneath which looks like it attributes the maker to Jb Lamparas Of Spain. They were the main specialists of lights of this style using this colour glass with forged metal
It is a heavy lamp, approximately 50cm tall, in very good condition, with no cracks to the glass and in good working order. ( although being vintage I must caution to get the lamp checked out wiring etc).It is an amazing lamp totally adhering to its Brutalist style, at the same time giving a warm filtered glow when switched on.
A rare find for any mid century collector!
