Heals of London Mahogany Desk Chair

Late 19th century mahogany desk chair or library armchair by Heal’s of London c1884, having a newly upholstered leather padded deep buttoned backrest enclosed in a solid mahogany frame. The chair is well crafted, with generous proportions and unusual serpentine shaped arms over a deep saddle seat. It stands on baluster turned legs and out-swept back legs on brass casters, united by a crinoline stretcher.
In very good condition and all joints are tight.
