Mid Century McIntosh Rosewood ‘Envelope’ Sideboard

A rare and very well made Mid Century “envelope” sideboard by A H McIntosh of Kirkcaldy c1970’s.  A contemporary design, made of solid and veneered rosewood, having a unique central cocktail cabinet opened with a bud handle, split in three ways which opens like an envelope.  Once opened there are two small side trays to the top of the doors for drinks preparation.  The two cupboard side doors with drawers beneath have no visible handles as they are all recessed for a sleek design.  The makers label is present and can be seen within the cutlery drawer.  All hinges, stays and catches are present and in good working order.  No damage or repairs and has not been restored.  In original Mid Century condition with usual wear commensurate with age.  200cmL x 96cmH x 45cmD
