A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Spode Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Dessert Plate, printed in a medium blue palette with the “Gothic Castle” pattern, { Spode Pattern No. P708 }, unmarked, but this recognised as being one of the few of Spode’s patterns so issued. The reverse bearing the planetary sign for Mars in underglaze blue.
