A fine Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Double Indented Pottery Plate from Spode’s perennially popular “Caramanian” Series, this one printed in the “Sarcophagi and Sepulchres at the head of the harbour of Cacamo” pattern, catalogued by Drakard and Holdway, { Spode Transfer Printed Ware 1784 – 1833 }, as Pattern No. P905 – 12. The reverse with impressed Upper Case Maker’s mark, viz. SPODE 50, underglaze blue printed Upper Case Maker’s mark, D.
