A most attractive Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Transfer Printed and “clobbered” Polychrome “Dutch” shaped Pottery Jug / Pitcher, of half pint capacity, by Baggerley & Ball of Longton, Staffordshire { 1822 – 1836 }, brightly decorated with Chinoiserie scenes within two reserves upon a rich dark blue ground. The underside with underglaze dark blue printed Maker’s Mark / Opaque China within an oval Star Cartouche.
