Antique English Victorian Brass Oil Lamp

A fine and decorative Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass Oil Lamp, the reeded brass column rising from a gadrooned brass and black pottery round base, this latter impress marked with the numeral 76, the font attractively painted in shades of green and peach with a floral garland. The burner in full working order, the two wick winder buttons each marked “BEST BRITISH MAKE”. Illustrated here with a replacement 20th Century striated, crimped and scalloped green shade. Replacement clear glass chimney, as one would expect.
