Antique French Walnut & Slate Patisserie Preparation Dining Table, c 1800

A rare and complete French patisserie preparation table, dating from the early 19th century. In good overall condition, displaying excellent signs of patination. Slightly rectangular top with walnut edging, to a slate centre piece. This was used to cool the pastry when kneading and shaping. Over a dual facing dough drawer with turned walnut knobs. Over cross trestle base with legged joins. This piece is so hard to find displaying it’s original condition.
