Early original Mid Century “Butterfly” chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. There are 3 black and 3 light grey chairs. The black chairs are the early design and possibly first edition, having metal plate cover to the underside stamped FH DANMARK. Original black lacquered finish to the bent plywood, lightly cleaned chrome-plated legs, replacement underseat stabilizers and chair glides. The light grey chairs are slightly later, being produced in 1967 which is stamped on the plastic cover bases. Original light grey lacquered finish to the bent plywood, lightly cleaned chrome-plated legs, original underseat stabilizers and replacement chair glides.
In good original condition.
