An Arts & Crafts American reclining mission chair of large proportions, and made of solid oak. The chair has three reclining positions by using the adjustable bar at the rear. The arms are supported by side brackets and vertical through tenons, and stands on square legs and original castors.
Newly and professionally upholstered with the backrest cushion feather filled and internally divided into three pockets to stop the feathers separating and falling to the bottom. The cushion is removable and held in place with loops to the top. The sprung seat and backrest cushion have been covered in a new leather hide.
In excellent condition.
