A very large and stylish studio pottery ‘Totem’ table lamp by British ceramicist Bernard Rooke c1960’s / 1970’s. A sculptural piece having hand-made sections of terracotta and stone with a combination of glazed and unglazed finishes. The lamp is made up of separate sections and positioned on a central metal tube. The lamp is fitted with an original 1960’s hessian conical shade. The shade does have a slight depression (shown on image) but as it can be turned to the back, we thought it it better to have it with the original shade. Rooke’s incised studio stamp can be seen on the base. In good original condition, rewired and PAT tested.
