A Qing dynasty Hongmu marble top plantstand, the circular top with a pink variegated marble insert, broad banding and a carved fore-edge, supported on four elegant carved legs with faux bamboo on the facings, with a profusely carved frieze which follows the form of the top, intersected by a cruciform carved stretcher capped with a flower, finishing on primitive animal feet
