Description

A solid oak ‘Yorkshire Rose’ clock made by Colin ‘Beaverman’ Almack c1960’s, one of the ‘Yorkshire Critter’ craftsmen. Inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement, Almack was trained and worked for Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson as a master cabinet maker in the 1940’s. Almack started his own workshop in the 1960’s and Beaverman furniture was started. In good condition, having brass roman numerals, quartz movement, yorkshire rose carved in the centre, and his signature beaver carved to the top. There is a brass plate fitted to the back for hanging on the wall.
