Description
A finely-detailed Copeland Parian figure of a boy known as the ‘Young Naturalist’. The boy has a bird’s nest under his arm and is blowing an egg with a string of blown eggs in his hand. This charming little boy is attributed to the sculptor R J Morris and is marked ‘COPELAND’ and ‘COPYRIGHT RESERVED’. In excellent condition with no chips or restoration.
Parian ware is a type of biscuit porcelain imitating marble.
