A striking 1920’s Afghan Ersari carpet of large size, in fantastic condition.
The bold colours in this carpet made with natural dyes, stay rich a century on, on soft glossy wool.
It is made with wonderful hand spun wool on a wool foundation, giving it a luxurious texture and shine. Suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
All our rugs are dusted and professionally hand washed at our specialist premises, ready for use.
