The German East Africa Company acquired rights to mint coinage in 1890 and issued rupies which were equivalent to the Indian and Zanzibar rupee. The spoons were made as an memento of the coinage. Here we have 3 x 1906 /1 x 1907/1 x 1909/1 x 1912
