An early to mid 20th century ‘estate made’ 3 section wrought iron hand forged fireguard screen. The wrought iron frame is riveted together to hold the sturdy copper mesh, and stands on splayed feet. The only part of the fire guard not riveted are the hinges which have been hand forged. Believed to be connected with an equestrian theme due to the wrought iron decoration of horse stirrups and very sizeable horns.
The fire guard is in good condition, no damage to the mesh, and can be folded flat when not in use.
A good bespoke handmade item.
