Heals of London Mahogany Desk Chair c1884

Late 19th century desk/library armchair made of solid mahogany by Heals of London c1884. The chair has a padded deep buttoned backrest which has been newly and fully upholstered which is shaped at the bottom to assist with spine curvature. Well crafted with a good proportioned deep saddle seat, unusual serpentine shaped arms, and stands on front baluster turned legs with brass casters, out-swept rear legs united with a crinoline stretcher.
In very good condition, all joints are tight, no breaks or repairs.
