8-Day Ormolu French clock

Fine original bronze ormolu finish to the case

Wonderful floral and cherub figural decoration

I love the peeping cherubs coming around the pillars

Incredible colour to this clock just look at how well the panels are painted

The panel under the dial depicting a game of leapfrog

Father of time side mounts

Classical Red sevres panels to front and sides

Clean dial with Roman numerals

Wonderful spade hands

French 8-day clock movement

Sought after bell strike movement

Measures 49cm high by 41cm wide by 14cm deep and the dial is 10cm in diameter

Wonderful mid Victorian 8-day red sevres French mantle clock, with sought after hand painted red sevres panels and original finish to the bronze ormolu case. The case has its original finish with a good patina incredible colour, the dial is in good condition. The movement is original with a wonderful tick striking a clean sounding bell – please see many images this is a super clock.

Very good condition for age, showing slight signs or please view the many photos make sure happy.
