A large and impressive late 19th century converted gas pendant ceiling light by John Walsh Walsh of Birmingham. The shade is in the ‘Opaline Brocade’ pattern and made of vaseline glass. The pattern was registered by Walsh in 1897. The frame is made of brass with a decorative scroll detail to the sides and decorative ceiling rose.
In very good condition, there is no damage to the glass, and the light has been rewired.
