A charming 1950’s traditional Kayseri carpet.
This cute little well drawn Kayseri is made from lovely natural wool on a cotton foundation, giving it a soft thick feel. An intricately decorated floral border surrounds a bold standout central medallion framed with a rich red colouring, all derived from vegetable dyes.
In very good condition this superb elegant decorative rug is suitable for normal to heavy domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
All our rugs are dusted and professionally hand washed at our specialist premises, ready for use.
