This oustanding example dates back to the 1880’s, and is of fine tight weave with soft glossy wool.
The carpet is in excellent condition, very slight even wear, medium pile and suitable for domestic use. Featuring soft reds making it feel warm it is a great addition to any part of your home. A subtle yet intricate design, featuring an unusual variant of the ‘tauk nuska’ gul design and borders are of classic Kizylayak design.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
