An original mid century ‘model 6250’ armchair by G Plan, designed in 1962 and known as “The World’s Most Comfortable Chair”. Used by the James Bond villain “Blofeld” in the 1967 film “You Only Live Twice”. The chair has a winged design, deeply buttoned backrest, a generous seating area with a rocking and swivel feature. It sits on a rosewood base and rolls on casters.
The chair is paired with the matching footstool.
In very good condition and both the chair and footstool cushion has been newly and professionally upholstered.
