a few small indentations and upgrades / scratches or marks here and there but this is usual for a 60 year old wooden Bass. Condition is pretty much excellent
All electronics are original and are working. Control panel shows this has never been de-soldiered or messed around with (and all slider pots to plate still have the original solder).
This bass was one of the very first to be imported to the UK by Selmer Music shop and definitely one of the first if not the first to arrive without the “Hofner” decal that was added in 1964.
It also has the standard “long” tail piece shortly after 1962 / early 1963.

This is the real deal of which a few handful were made in this combination and that thousands have been made to try to replicate!
