This is a delightful gilt brass quaich with a 1966 Queen Elizabeth II penny set into the base.

It could have been made for the 1966 World Cup win and would make an amazing 60th birthday gift.

The gold plating is done to a very high standard and the cup, handle and thumb rest are nicely balanced.

The cup measures 11cm across x 1 inch high.

It weighs just over 66g.
