English, Circa 1710. This fine piece of furniture has a double dome top with mirrored arched panelled doors and working lock and key. In beautiful condition for its age. There are 2 candle slides and then the bottom section consists of a bureau with drop down flap, inside there is a leather inset writing surface along with 8 pigeon holes, 4 small stationary drawers and a drop well storage compartment. This item comes in 2 parts, with 2 short over 2 long drawers in the base, it stands on ogee feet. A lovely quality item and beautifully aged colour and patina.
