An absolutely superb walnut chair dating to around 1730 from Ireland. With fantastic ‘hairy paw’ feet which is typical of Irish furniture of this period. Also with carving to the knees and pad feet to the back. This type of chair is very rare and this particular piece has not seen a lot of use hence its excellent condition. A real show piece.
