Set of eight (6+2) Arts & Crafts dining room chairs made of walnut c1910 attributed to Shapland & Petter, registration number 3156 written in pencil, not stamped. Extremely well made, having a padded headrest with stud detail over a carved stylised flower to the middle slat back. Padded seats and stands on typical Shapland & Petter leg detail. Newly and professionally upholstered, including the webbing and stuffing to meet all current fire regulations. The fabric is Williams Morris ‘Bramble” which compliments the walnut. In excellent condition, all joints are tight.
