Description

Arts & Crafts stained oak box settle by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple c1910 having the RD No 1116 to the rear as shown in the Shapland & Petter catalogue. The settle has decorative carving to the back panels and top rail, with a carved heart design to the front panel. The seat opens to reveal storage below, and is raised on square supports.

In good original condition, no loose joints, breaks or repairs.
