This late 20th-century fine porcelain figure titled “The Duke of Wellington 1769 – 1852” showcases the remarkable talent of Reg Johnson as a designer, potter, and painter. Expertly crafted and exquisitely decorated, this piece has been fired in his own studio and includes a separate sword, making it an ideal introduction to the artistry of this gifted Staffordshire artist, whose works are on display at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
