Beautiful antique carriage clock of architectural design. This clock has its dial masked by an ormolu front panel and ornate ormolu center piece. The case is flanked by Corinthian pillars and has loverly fretted style motif top and bottom borders.  It is a gong striking clock, strikes the hourly and has a repeater feature.

Finished to an exceptionally high standard of craftmanship.

 The clock looks absolutely stunning on display.

It is in good working order, comes complete with double ended winding key.

 

The clock is an 8-day French carriage clock, it keeps relatively good time and has a rectangular beveled viewing window to see the original platform balance in action.

 

Good condition for age, showing slight signs of age to the case.
