Wills, a prolific author, here provides a mainly chronological account, dealing with the state of glass-making in the early years of the young Queen’s reign, the Great Exhibition of 1851 and other important exhibitions, the influence of Bohemia and Venice, etching, cameo-carving, press moulding and Nailsea-type glass. Hard covers, some 96 pages, black and white illustrations, original dust jacket.
