This fine 19th-century sideboard exemplifies the refined design sensibilities of the renowned London cabinetmakers Edwards & Roberts. Constructed from light mahogany, the sideboard features a classic inverted breakfront silhouette and is offered in very good condition.
There is a central drawer and three arched panel doors, opening to a spacious interior ideally suited for storage. The left hand cupboard has a drawer above 2 slides, the middle cupboard has a shelf inside, and the right hand cupboard has a drawer above a shelf and cellarette drawer below.
The sideboard stands on a plinth base and has working locks and key.
A hallmark of quality, the original maker’s stamp “Edwards & Roberts” is clearly visible on the interior of the central drawer, certifying its provenance and authenticity.
