Antique Victorian silver double heart brooch, fully hallmarked on the back for Birmingham 1876. Engraved with a flower on the one heart and leaves on the other.
These brooches were often given to a sweetheart as a token of love and were very popular in the Victorian times.
The hinge of the pin has been ‘repaired’ with a brass pin so it opens and closes but is a bit ‘floppy’. However, the pin does slot into the ring securely. The brooch is priced accordingly.
