A fine Mid 20th Century Vintage Musical Pottery Mug, believed to be Royal Winton, Grimwades, of spreading cylindrical form, moulded with a scene looking towards the castle, the handle formed as a kilted Scotsman, the body with titles, “STIRLING CASTLE” and “TARBET”. While the musical movement in the base of the piece is presently in working order, playing a traditional Scottish air, our advice generally is to refrain from regular use in view of the frailty of these old and often fragile internal mechanisms.
